About Artemis
The Artemis Stellar Field Watch - or the Space Flown Watch is the worlds first freely available timepiece that has seen the edge of space. It is a project borne of love for two things; time, and travel.
Sadly, this is not a TARDIS.
What makes Artemis tick:
Space is pretty far away, and when it comes to getting there, every gram counts. In fact, it costs approximately $1000 to send just one gram of matter Up There.
With that in mind, TDP International will, in collaboration with our aerospace partners, be flying 100 Artemis watch dials - just the dials - to the Thin Blue Line. This way, not only is the high cost of space access amortized as efficiently as possible, but there will be no barrier between the Adventurine and the Adventure.
After their historic flight, the Artemis dials will be integrated into their cases and shipped to customers.
As we continue to work closely with our to be named launch service provider (LSP), more information about the flight, including the specific date and time, will become available on our blog page, which is run by our in-house aerospace engineer.
How much it'll cost:
The classic package, which includes the watch and strap, case, and flight certificate, will be $500 shipped. The founders edition will be $625, and will include a detailed, signed certificate of space entry, spaceflight patch, and NASA style NATO strap.
I want an Artemis, but you're sold out. Will there be more Artemis flights?
If all goes well, yes! We'd like to make these as widely available as possible. Future flights are on the cards, as are different variants, though the timeline for that is at present unknown.
